From early on, Reid Shockey believed that the region was on the cusp of significant growth as a new millennium approached, and that the need to plan for the future was critical. Today, having raised his family in Everett, Reid actively pursues a quality community, participating in civic and economic organizations to promote livability in the region. As President of Shockey/Brent, Inc. Reid sees continued strong growth for the region and the continued necessity for quality planning. |

Joined by Vice President Laura Brent, AICP, the Shockey/Brent, Inc. team has become the premier land use and environmental consulting firm in Snohomish County. Laura's vision for the firm was to grow beyond the early direct land use planning venue and pioneer innovative services for diversity as new planning legislation came into the forefront, such as the State Environmental Policy Act and Growth Management Act.
